Nestled on the beautiful Black Isle, Oliver’s is more than just a crematorium. It’s a place of warmth, dignity, and care, where every pet is treated as an individual and every goodbye is handled with heart.

I offer individual pet cremations, Highland-wide collection and return, and – for those who need it – the chance to say goodbye in a calm, private setting here at Alcaig.

I also work alongside experienced veterinary professionals to offer gentle euthanasia on-site here in our private, peaceful Pod.

Afterwards, your pet will be lovingly carried with care and dignity through for cremation – their final journey seamless and calm, honouring them every step of the way.

A very hard decision which was made easier with their help and service that they offer. We were all made to feel welcome and comfortable in the space that they provided, never felt rushed at any point to hurry things up or leave without getting in our final goodbyes. Lisa had mentioned that dogs have an ability to work their way into every crack and crevice of your life without realising and this couldn’t be any more true as we are discovering with his departure. The keepsakes, paw and nose print and Urn are all of fantastic quality and I’m thankful to have a part of Cooper with us forever. 💙

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A few weeks ago our lovely 16-year old dog Flora passed away.  In advance, we visited Oliver’s which is just a couple of miles away from us.  We had a long chat with Lisa, who discussed everything with us with great empathy, and we had no doubt that, when the time came, we would like to have Flora cremated at Oliver’s.  In addition to the service that Lisa herself provides, the location and the facilities are perfect.  Lisa and Jason cremated Flora exactly as we requested, and Flora was back with us within a few days.
Although in the event Flora was put to sleep by our usual vet, we got in touch with Claire McCall, the vet with whom Lisa works.  Claire is really great and would have been prepared to alter her arrangements so that she could have put Flora to sleep either at our house or at Oliver’s.
We can’t speak highly enough about Lisa and Oliver’s, and we understand why people travel long distances to visit Oliver’s.

Whilst saying goodbye to my girls has been the most difficult experience I have had in recent years, Lisa made sure I had all the information I needed as soon as possible and was extremely kind and empathetic throughout. The whole process was fast tracked so that I would not be apart from them for too long and I received them back to me in carefully prepared pouches with pretty hand crafted finishes. I cannot thank Lisa enough for their kindness and professionalism would highly recommend Oliver’s to anyone that is unfortunately in the same situation. Thank you Lisa.

We lost him just after Christmas and it was a terrible shock as he was completely well then deteriorated over 2 days and was gone. Something that is still difficult to come to terms with.
My vet recommended contacting Lisa @ Oliver's for the cremation, I didn't realise beforehand that there was a service so close to us. Lisa is the loveliest person to speak to at a time that every pet parent dreads. She put my mind at rest straight away that Mac would be collected and treated with dignity and that we would be getting an individual cremation which you cannot always be sure of when your animal is sent away.
I really appreciated the time that was taken to talk to us when we collected him. The casket was just what I wanted and there were even little handmade extras to take home which are a lovely keepsake. The location is perfect, quiet and peaceful and very uplifting at such a sad time. Lisa's kindness and thoughtfulness was amazing compared to how I have been treated in the past when losing dogs.
I cannot recommend her enough, she is providing a very special and much needed service in the Highlands.🐾❤️
Adding on from this review, I have also sadly lost my other Greyhound boy Jimmy a few months after Mac. It has been the saddest time and honestly would have been so much worse without the help and kindness offered by both Lisa and Claire the vet who came out to my house at short notice to put Jim to sleep. Her care and compassion made it the most peaceful ending for him.
We collected him from Lisa a couple of days later and once again    she provided a lovely casket with special keepsakes and vials of fur which will be a treasured remembrance of our special boy.
Thank you to Lisa and Claire for all you do, I am so grateful for your help at the worst time any pet parent has to go through. I would recommend both of you to anybody losing a pet. You are the best! 🙏

The care ,love,devotion and dignity shown to Missy can't  be put in to words. And same for the sympathy shown towards me. Missy was back at home with me in less than 48 hours . If you love your pet then this is the place for them  at the end of their lives journey . Can not recommend  highly enough. So after loosing our beautiful dog (fur baby) Rubie we was told about Olivers by our vets.
My partner and I phoned Lisa  and she was very kind and compassionate and she listened to everything we was saying and our wishes for our Rubie.
She looked after our little girl and we was reunited with our Rubie quickly.
There was lots of homemade erns to choose from and with the right help and guidance we made the right decision for our girl.
The attention to details and the homemade gifts and guidance ment so much to us both
THANKYOU Lisa from the bottom of our hearts for making our awful emotional time slightly more bearable.
